I remember this song playing on the radio at the time when my big brother was in the Marines and left for Vietnam. It's so surreal I can almost remember every word spoken on that day in our little home in Los Angeles. Me and all my brothers were sobbing and my Mom crying and my dad trying to be brave but he was all broken up too. He made it and got back 13 months later but Vietnam still killed hi slowly and he passed away in 92 very sick from Agent orange.

so talented. My Daddy loved Frank Sinatra
we both loved Nancy together - one thing that created a bond between me the hippie chick daughter
