Yes Kanye West is a bigot, but the media binary in this country allows for him to be. I felt truly awful for poor Mike Meyers who was trying to help and support a worthy cause and was put in that horribly awkward position by some one with little real class. Chris Tucker picked up the ball well. But I think it was plain that even we was caught off guard by Kanye's display. The facts are: people choose to live there below sea level, it is a hurricanes prone area, the local government failed to have a plan, people choose not to heed the warnings, they failed to prepare with emergency supply kits, some stayed to loot, some were just stubborn, some were not capable(wheel chair bound, nursing home, hospitalized). the ones who were not capable are the only one who deserve to be pissed about what the government failed to do. in the end people should blame themselves.
